COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
American Style India Pale Ale
Vale/IPA is our interpretation of an american india pale ale. Using a combination of hops from three countries. This beer is designed with a balance of malt and hops giving a firm bitterness showing passionfruit, citrus and stone fruit characters derived from the hops.

Bottled version brewed at Laverton until the introduction of a bottling line to the Willunga Brewery.

Mild take on the style by any interpretation. Buzzy metal flavours and old skool hops show some early promise but soon fades away. Hard to see a compelling case.

From a schooner shared in Sydney. Pours a hazy copper with an off white head. Grassy hop nose. Flavors of tropical fruit and hay. Bitter finish.

Slightly too fizzy, light hops aroma, taste is a little bland. Solid enough but certainly nothing special.

Keg at Local Tap House, Melbourne, Victoria. Hazy amber, small head. Gooseberry and caramel up front. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Cocoa and gooseberry, notes of caramel. Mid bitter finish.

(Bottle) Clear deep, slightly ruddy, golden with almost no head. Gentle interesting aroma with a mix of fruitiness, herbs and a slight flintiness. Light body with good carbonation. Light fruity start with little sweetness developing into a rather aggressive hoppy bitterness, which to me seemed to lack the complex tastes and was somewhat dull and aggressive. Pleasant enough, but doesn’t really do it for me.

Interesting pour. Slight difference in colour from top to bottom. Amber a peak, gold below. Light on nose. Bit of nutty flavour, almost a hint of red wine. Even a cherry finish. Slight bitterness. Nice drop. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Rusty gold in colour with a thin lasting white, fruity aroma, lingering bitterness with crisp taste. Not too bad at all.

Pours a grumsy lighr brown colour with a small white head. Biscuits and caramel on the nose, also some earty hints. Flavour is quite the same. Light body with a soft palate. Nothing to be excited about, but a well balanced beer. Overall, it’s an okey beer, nothing more.

Bottle. Cloudy red-gold, medium head. Sweetish nose of fruity hops, berries, some earthiness. Mouthfeel is smooth but a touch over-carbonated. Nice tart finish. Very pleasant.
