COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
American Style India Pale Ale
Vale/IPA is our interpretation of an american india pale ale. Using a combination of hops from three countries. This beer is designed with a balance of malt and hops giving a firm bitterness showing passionfruit, citrus and stone fruit characters derived from the hops.

Bottled version brewed at Laverton until the introduction of a bottling line to the Willunga Brewery.

330ml bottle. Clear amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Minimally nuttily, caramel malty aroma, weak hoppy overtones with unspecific fruitiness. Taste is mildly bitter hoppy, minimally grassy, minimally unspecific fruity, dry, slightly nuttily, caramel malty basis; super soft palate. Rather boring IPA.

Bottle 0,33l. Pours a hazy amber colour with a large foamy white head that leaves a nice lacing. Aroma and taste of light piney and citrusy hops (oranges mainly with notes of passionfruit), biscuity malts with a moderately bitter hop finish. Medium with a lively mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy amber, medium white head. Aroma of ripe banana, caramel, candied fruit, strawbery Haribot notes. Smell completly fake and unbalanced. Flavours of caramel, metallic and citrus. Medium bitter astringency finish.

Pours golden/amber, very little carbonation. Slight floral aroma but with strange sickly sweet notes. Lots of sediment and bland palate. Bitter piney aftertaste. Quaffable but nothing special.

Draft at the Bottle Shop Bermondsey. Pours mostly clear gold with a frothy white head. The aroma holds ripe citrus fruits, pale bread, crackers, pine needles. Medium sweet flavor with more crackery pale malts, lightly oily pine, orange rind, faint bitter grass. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish with more crackery pale malts, bitter grass and pine, rindy citrus. Tasty enough but perhaps a little faded.

Hazy brown-orange, thin head. Strong but rough passionfruit and peach aroma, with toast and dirt. Thin and toasty in the mouth, peppery, husky and mildly bitter finish. Raw and rough, but not particularly intense to make up for it. Many better Aus IPAs out there.

Bottle from Braedon at PP. Aroma is pleasant pine hoppiness - not too strong but bigger than anticipated, especially smelling from bottle. Taste starts out just bland and crisp but some good piney flavors. Very crisp. Not bad
