Almond Joy is a dark, smooth, rich porter with notes of caramel, chocolate almond and coconut. It starts out as Roseburg’s Thielson Porter. Then, roasted almond pieces, cocoa nibs, dried coconut flakes and vanilla bean were added to the keg where the flavors have infused for over two months. It’s the beer to grab when you’re feeling a little nutty.

dark brown body with a thin yet persistent tan head.
Very malty and very nutty aromas from this raw off the tree almonds..some caramel.
Good malty toffee, caramel taste yet at the back the almonds dominate..nutty dark chocolate bitterness.
OK palate..slightly oily.
Overall a nice nutty porter even dare i say a strong Nut Brown Ale
