This is a red ale that has a semi-sweet malt complex but rather than the normal mild hops to compliment the malts, big floral and citrus hops are added. Similar to what you find in IPAs. Hence the IRA moniker. A great drink for those who can’t make their mind up between a hoppy beer or a malty beer!!
