Dec 30, 2006 On tap at the John Barleycorn’s McMenamins. Pours dark brown, very cloudy with a soft off-white head. Fruity and spicey nose. Starts with a sweet fruit kick, some plum and strawberry flavor with a clove and light banana finish. Very lively on the palate leading to a dry spice finish. Nice complex flavor that finishes very balanced.

Deep hazy brown with light head. the aroma is fruity, strawberry & blackberry with hops & sweetness. The flavor is tart, vinous even & a bit of fruityness. Finishes tart with a light body. Surprisingly well balanced.
