COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
McMenamins newest seasonal is a semi-sweet, copper colored pale ale moderatley hopped with Goldings & Cascades. Its sweetness is balanced with the bitterness typical of Northwest style pale ales, while the addition of crystal malts provides depth & comlexity.

Sampled at Lighthouse Pub, Lincoln City, Oregon. Clear medium yellow. Light musty orange nose, good solid malt, tart body with some wheaty hops in there as well. A regular beer from McMenamins.

Slighty murky copper color with good head and lacing. Full bodied with a balanced malt flavor. Not much biiterness at all. Dry finish. Very drinkable.

On tap at Boons Treasury , Salem, Oregon. The appearance of the ale is a nice amber colour with a large and frothy ,slightly off white head. Theres a curious caramel aroma ( very unusual for a Pale Ale here in the NW)..but its underpinned by some slight hop spicyness. This is a very smooth and almost creamy tasting Pale..quite malty..ah I know how this is an English Pale. Very little carbonation..but great taste..if you like your Pale with a more balanced profile. Very nice on the palate , exceptionally smooth. Very drinkable ale..it didnt seem very "strong" so this would make a great session drinker.

Hazy dark blond/crimson mix with sticky head & lacing. Aroma of ripe caramel malts & floral fruity hops. The flavor is rich with darker (brown, caramel, etc) malts & a slight dry hop note to carry through the rest of the beer. Finishes with a nice hop note too. good pale ale.

Amber in color with an almost non-existant head, which was strange since it was poured on nitro. Aroma was weak, with a slightly fruity and malty character. Taste was very watered down with a very thin mouthfeel, very sad beer.
