3.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cascade hoppiness dominates - a good pale ale. Well balanced although the crispness or carbonation seemed inconsistent from pint to pint.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
One of the better beers in the house. They really mastered the hops in this one...very piney and crisp, but it didnt overpower the rest of the beer. Typical, but well done.

Well, If we could all get the cask version of this it would truly impress. Mildly opaque, light amber/golden color. Heavy with the cascades and also some Mt. Hoods. Piney and floral notes prevail. Really bitter at first. An APA that acts more like an IPA. Faint notes of dry barley. Finishes totally APA though, not bad I guess, Good out of the cask.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
cascade aroma marks the beginning of this beer's mediocrity, some waning hops and ends a bit dry, the cask version had better everything including some berry notes

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cask: Opaque red brown. Hop alcohol nose. Hops are present in flavor but are nearly undetectable due to alcohol heat. Poor balance

Tap @ Blue Moon in Portland. Good hop/malt balance. Solid pale ale. Thick enough to make it interesting.

Oh my god... I love this beer. Everything about it is great except for the smell of my empty pint glass after I finished drinking it. I could drink hammerhead as water and be a happy man.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A cloudy colored ale w/ a hoppy flavor. It has a large tan head. Very nice, drinkable beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Zesty aroma a telling precursor to equally robust hoppy flavor. Appearance a cloudy copper color with a relatively weak head--still, not bad-looking...Flavor features strong hop profile, undergirded by enough malt presence to provide a slightly sweet counterbalance and nice mouthfeel. Finish is mildly hoppy and tangy. Solid American ale...
