An enjoyable coffee stout. Im typically not a coffee and beer fan but this stout was very impressive. Had a great dark stout color. I had a nitro version and the balance of stout to coffe is balanced well.

Tap mill creek deep black with smooth nitro head. Nor real aroma. A bit of astringency. Roasty but not quite enough. A little flat.

At Dad Watsons. Nose is sweet coffee with nice espresso, a touch of dark chocolate, and roasty sweet notes. Pours dark brown almost black with a great beige creamy nitro head. Coffee, espresso sweetness up front, light chocolate, creamy sweetness and more espresso roast ride out the finish. Super creamy body with light lingering sweetness. Super smooth mouth feel form the nitro. Solid brew from McMenamins. Light for an impy.

Draft at Dad Watsons. Looks like a nitro stout...black with creamy tan head. Nose is really big with iced black coffee, roasted malt, bitter sweet chocolate and a touch of brown sugar. Mouth feel is what a nitro should be; creamy and silky. Tons of sweet coffe at first, move into some bittering chocolate and then some light Saccharin and matallic note that take away from all the coffee...too bad.

Black, thick lasting brown head.Good roasted espresso nose.Taste is more of the same, but ends on a vinegar note.
