This is a pleasant seasonal winter ale. Not much on the hop front (below mild) which was boasted, but definite detection of bitter finish. Very light carbonation. Weak off white head. Ok malts

My choice of drink while watching Brave at the Kennedy School. Pours a hazy light brown. Partially Scottish and the rest winter ale. Malt focused with a slight cider taste.

draft. pretty solid holiday special. darker amber in color. a little flat. smooth spicey and light hop bitterness. i’d order again.

Clear dark amber color/ beige head. Tea leaf, spicy hop, toasted caramel aromas. medium bodied. Lightly sweet, toasted spicy caramel flavors with tea leaf, woody hops, nicely bitter finish.

From a tap,dark ruby,malty,lightly sweet,medium body,not bad at all would drink again.

On tap at mill creek. Nice aroma of spice and hops. Great flavor too not too sweet but great maltiness. Finish is hops. Not bad at all. Best one I have had from them yet.

On tap @ North Bank in Eugene. Pours brown with some head. Tastes a little earthy, but ultimately flavorless.

Immense cereal grain backbone. Caramel highlights the chewy, grainy bread body. Earthy notes throughout with very light use of holiday spice.

Pint – McMenamins Mill Creek – Mill Creek, WA – Nice hoppy flavor good brown color and malts where well balanced. This finishes dry and has a light earthy flavor. The spices where noticeable and not overwhelming this was a well brewed beer.

Fresh hop, cloudy brown. Slightly fruity malt body - apricot. Peaty note. Hoppy and spicy end. Full body. Decent.
