Purple Haze, or was it Purple Rain? Maybe they are the same thing. It was a Fruit Beer in disguise. Great taste.

"Hazy pink, lightly tart and fruity. Refreshing for sure bit not a whole lot going on. I prefer the ruby head to head fairly easily.............................."

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a mostly cloudy dark copper, reddish hue. A sweet fruit splenda nose. The flavor is semi-tart, grapes, some husk, sugary sweet at times. OK.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On draught at McMenamins Chapel Pub. Cloudy reddish purple color. Prominent peanut butter and marionberry jelly sandwich aroma. Berry and wheat taste, but never lives up to promising aroma. Ends a little light and watery.

Decent alternate version of Ruby. Nice and tart, great wheat flavor on the back end.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Draught. Poured hazy amber purple with thin white head. Little lacing. Slight berry aroma, but not noticeable as boysenberry. Lot of berry in flavour, but some hop to keep it from being too sweet. Tart berry and hop finish, but very light.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draught @ John Barleycorns:   Hazy amber with a pinkish hue, thin sudsy white head, spotty lacing.   Artificial berry like nose.   Cereal like malts as well.   Quite artificial on the tongue.   Does have a berry
flavor, but to discern that its Boysenberry is hard to do.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate, but bordering on thin.   Finishes very cereal like, witha very artificial berry like tinge.   I wouldn’t even call it flavor
because its very transparent.   Ruby is okay, but this one lacks even more.   Don’t bother trying if you want a Fruit Beer.

2.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Translucent, hazy pink-amber, salmon color. Light, airy, enjoyable piquant boysenberry aroma tempts the nose. Watery body washes light boyseberry over the tongue. Easy drinking summer refresher with light fruit flavor, but too little body. No sourness. Easy fruit finish.

4oz Taster - Spring Beer & Wine Festival - Portland, OR
Aroma – Light flavor totally light fruit flavor. This was pretty bad.
Appearance – Purple in color, hazy with very little head.
Flavor – Yes this might be a beginners beer but come on this was crap. I can brew that in my garage without cleaning. Very little flavor at all it was weak at best.
Palate – Weak Mouthfeel, whatever texture as for finish (I was glad it was over).
Overall – One of the worst beers I have ever had from a micro brewery. Terrible beer.

My wife got this beer at the McMenamins in clackamas. Not a really good beer. She likes the Ruby much better. It seemed lite onflavor. Smelled like it would have a fuller taste then it did. One of those beers that lets you down. You keep wondering what happened to the damn flavor
