3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is an IPA brewed with sake yeast.
Pint at Thompsons Brewpub in S.Salem.
Murky orange ale with a small off white head.
Floral, herbal hop aromas and something else I take to be the sake yeast..slightly fruity.
Taste smooth floral hop all the eay with a slight sour fruitiness in the back..substantial caramel malts in the taste.
Palate is fine..medium bodied and well carbonated.
Overall nice unusual beer again Jen ( the brewer here) does a great job with the sake yeast.
