Tap. Hazy light-grapefruits (huh?? That’s what my rating sheet says anyway). Not much of an aroma: just light raspberries. This does carry into the taste but then fades into an undesirable finish. No bueno.

Tap@Cornelius Roadhouse. Made with fresh raspberries and it shows! Pink lemonaid looking with good head and lacing. Nice raspberry/wheat aroma. Tart berry flavor with some bready notes and a light dry finish.

UPDATED: DEC 20, 2004 I can get this on tap at about 10 different places within walking distance of my house in Portland. Ruby is a great summer beer: nice and easy-drinking, pleasantly fruity with a great wheat flavor and character. It’s light and smooth on the palate, yet finishes with a delicious flourish. This is a great one to have on the way back home from work.

UPDATED: DEC 21, 2006 Pours bright reddish color, slightly hazy, with a small white head. Aroma was filled with what i thought was strawberry then latter corrected to raspberry, very fruity. Taste was very fruity with the sweet raspberry taste and very little hop bitterness. Very smooth and dry beer with decent lacing and the taste stays for a while.

I really enjoyed this. finally, a raspberries actually tasted like real raspberries and they weren't dominating. Decent underlying wheat. This is one of the better fruit beers I've had.

A good raspberry flavor to this one. Very light, pinkish in color -- great warm day brew.

Mild aroma, and the flavor comes through the tasting with a one-second delay. Drinkable, gentle, with a seltzer-water like quick finish. Hazy pink grapefruit juice appearance. (on tap at Ringlers/Crystal Ballroom, Portland)

Light, hazy golden pour. Small head and a little lace. Blended malts and raspberry. There goes the raspberries in the flavor. Not a lot else present. Fuzzy palate, almost like eating one of the berries. Good if you like raspberries... a lot.

Hazy gold color with a light creamy head . The aroma is very light, almost non-existant, a touch of raspberry, but it could be discounted easily. Finishes lightly malty and surprisingly good. Almost no flavor here. A run of the mill cookie cutter franchise micro, eh.
