While many other breweries have followed suit, we still make this Ruby exactly as we first did: Light, crisp and refreshingly fruity. Over 55 pounds of hand-macerated, fresh, whole raspberries are used in every batch. Taste the original!

Bottle. Cloudy light pink with a lively bubbly white head. Aroma is sour raspberries, dusty yeast, minerally undertones. Flavour is all under-ripe raspberries, wheat, yoghurt, light yeast. Finish is very crisp and dry, quite tart and acidic. Nothing sweet at all about this fruit beer-- very genuine, refreshing, light. Very good.

Draft. Hazy amber beer with a low off-white head. Light malt, light fruit aroma. Raspberry and grain flavor. Medium bodied. Bad grain aftertaste. Just bad.

This light amber ale poured with almost no head and a strong raspberry aroma. The flavor is way too watery and the fruit flavor is too light. But overall, it’s a decent refreshing drink.

Draught at the Markey Street pub. Nice fruity, raspberry nose. Salmon pink with lace. Fruity, wheaty flavor, a bit creamy. Crisp, not too sweet, refreshing though not so tasty. Dry, crackery malt finish. Decent.

Draft at the Mill Creek brewpub. Pours murky pink; looks just like pink grapefruit juice minus the pulp. Fizzy white foam atop. Smells hugely of raspberries, like breakfast syrup or drink concentrate. Kinda fakey that way. Watery, flat, sticky. Yuck.

On tap at the Hillsboro location..wait do they have more than one in Hillsboro? Anyway, pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A light fruity nose, some earthy malt. The flavor is basically similar: light and clear berries, earthy dry malt, some light crispness. OK.

draft, bright orange and light pink color, rasberrybluberry flavor with light body and finish, better than some other fruit beers

"an interesting light fruity beer with some earthy hops and just a touch of tartness. raspberry is the main fruit component, and they do it justice here. pretty standard beers for the most part, but this one was cool."

UPDATED: APR 29, 2012 Big raspberry aroma on a cloudy orange beer. More of a malty flavor than I expected, crisp and powerful. This is an interestingly good and unique beer. Want more.

Cloudy yellowish with slight red hue. Wheaty aroma with raspberry essence. Flavor is more of the same. Raspberries taste natural. Tart and wheaty. A nice fruit beer
