Draught @ Oly Club WA 08’. Hazy rose color. Raspberries right form the get go. Sweet, tart raspberries: covers anything else going on here. If you like intense fruit beers this is a great choice. I am not one for this style but i certainly give them credit for putting this brew together.

7/18/08 On draught at the Kennedy School. Aroma is candilike sweet fruit. Appearance is hazy pink with a medium maintained white head. Flavor is raspberry sweetness forward but not strong, and with almost no bittering. Mouthfeel is light bodied with a very light spritzy carb texture. Overall, the flavor of the base style and the raspberry are just too light.

Tap@Cornelius Roadhouse. Made with fresh raspberries and it shows! Pink lemonaid looking with good head and lacing. Nice raspberry/wheat aroma. Tart berry flavor with some bready notes and a light dry finish.

Very pretty in a glass, and retains a moderate raspberry sweetness. More body would be nice.

Ruby tinted pale orange body. Definitely plenty of raspberries, lots of creaminess as well. ripe fruits, sweet ant somewhat tart. Some hints of wheat as well. Body is watery and thin, but has a lively palate.

On tap at Eugene’s North Bend location. Grapefruit colored with very little head. Aroma of raspberries and sugar. It mostly tastes like grapefruit flavored sparkling water. Dry finish. Fairly weak on the palate.

Looks just like grapefruit. Smells like ocean spray. Tastes like candy. No hops. I don’t like raspberry and this has a lot of raspberry.

On tap at Old St. Francis School in Bend. Pours ruby indeed. A fruity, light ale. Not too sweet like some, but also not very strong. A light, crisp low-alcohol sipper for the hot summer days.

Sample at Dad Watsons’s. Pale color of pink grapefruit juice. Very cloudy with a finely-beaded foam halo. Smells of raspberry and perfumed soap. Very light wheat beer flavor, Gatorade-ish, dificult to identify the fruit as raspberry. Thin, weak palate. Completely inoffensive and somehow refreshing. A wine cooler alternative for sorority airheads (apologies to sorority girls outside of that category, and to anybody who likes this beer.)
