This light amber ale poured with almost no head and a strong raspberry aroma. The flavor is way too watery and the fruit flavor is too light. But overall, it’s a decent refreshing drink.

aroma of raspberry mildly sour taste with a slightly acidic palate not as bad as others make it out to be.

Very pretty in a glass, and retains a moderate raspberry sweetness. More body would be nice.

beerinmarch (2830) - Washington, USA - MAY 11, 2004
UPDATED: DEC 21, 2006 Pours bright reddish color, slightly hazy, with a small white head. Aroma was filled with what i thought was strawberry then latter corrected to raspberry, very fruity. Taste was very fruity with the sweet raspberry taste and very little hop bitterness. Very smooth and dry beer with decent lacing and the taste stays for a while.

Draught at the Six Arms, Seattle Rosy pink as watermelon juice, with no trace of a head, muddy. If I inhale VERY deeply and long, I can get indeed some raspberry aroma. But is says "packed full of 60 pounds or raspberries...". Yes, on - the city’s water reservoir? Discreet fruit taste, as a bit of raspberry jam dissolved in a big galss of tap water (well, then maybe not as Seattle tap water contains lethal doses of chlorine). Refreshing it is, no doubt. OK, it’s light. Very poor fruit beer.

Light, hazy golden pour. Small head and a little lace. Blended malts and raspberry. There goes the raspberries in the flavor. Not a lot else present. Fuzzy palate, almost like eating one of the berries. Good if you like raspberries... a lot.

Draft at Sherwood location. Arrived looking like pink grapefruit juice,, cloudy and pale pink color with little to no head. Raspberry dominates aroma, flavor is crisp and wheaty with berry and fruit notes and hints of hop. Medium body and gentle carbonation. Not bad for a summer cooler.

Hazy rasberry red color, small pinky head. Rasberry jam and stones aroma. Light bodied. Semidry flavor of rasberries. Nice refreshing rasberry beer.
