(Draft: Dad Watson’s in Seattle, WA) Best beer of the night at Dad Watson’s, by far; Prominent nutty, chocolate flavor, moderately sweet, quite bitter; Tastes a bit like an oatmeal stout even though there is no oatmeal in this beer; The nose is strong dark roasted aromas, but also has some oatmeal aromas going on; Thick, chewy and full bodied; Jet black except at the very edge where it is dark brown; Tan head fades to a thick rim

On tap or in the bottle. This beer is clearly made for the general "beer drinker". Not that it’s bad, its just safe. Typical, roasted chocolate flavors. Not much depth or character. Doesn’t invoke much interest for me. With the name "terminator" in it I just expected a more "stop at nothing" brew. Isn’t that what reese said?

On tap at Ringler’s Pub, Portland, sampled 6 August 2004. Deep muddy brown body, thin-medium cream-colored head. Roasted malt aroma with chocolate notes and fairly sweet caramel character. Flavor of rich roasted malt, chocolate, and a touch of caramel and brown sugar. Lightly sweet and full-flavored, even though the body is relatively thin. Very quaffable.

On tap at the Kennedy School pub. Black beer with a creamy beige head. Nice lacing. Milky palate. Coffee bitterness with some molasses sweetness. Sort of a one note stout.

Tap. Black, half-decent head. Poor aroma; minimal roastiness but generally lacking in flavor for the style.

Tap@McMenamins, Eugene, Oregon. Sweet, mollasses, and sweet choc/caramel, not a hell a lot of roast or bitterness in the flavour, pretty sweet. Also had the nitro version was just a tocuh smoother and blander.
