Sweet, mollasses, and sweet choc/caramel, not a hell a lot of roast or bitterness in the flavour, pretty sweet. Also had the nitro version was just a tocuh smoother and blander. slimweebs (139), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

It has a nice roasted flavor, but its flavor is well balanced and not overpowering. There’s hints of chocolate, nuts, and coffee. I could drink this beer everyday for the rest of my life. Plus, what a sweet name. beerinmarch (2781), Alabama, USA

Decent coffee and chocolate flavor, but the stout was a little thin tasting for my liking. Its kinda strang cause this used to be one of my favorite beers, i guess i have moved on now. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Mar 17, 2004 Dark brown color, almost opaque, with some ruby highlights and a small beige head. The aroma was dominated by strong roasted coffee tones...some chocolate as it warmed. The flavor was equally one-dimensional...tons of coffee. Fizzy mouthfeel...not appropriate for a stout. Some hops in the flavor, not exceptionally rich, nor a long finish. I guess I defined this beer by what it was not. A ring of head with a slightly hazy and very opaque appearance. Sorry, it just didn't impress me. The taste is unbelievable and you drink it pitcher after pitcher after pitcher. If you like dark beer this is the best.
