7/18/08 On draught at the Kennedy School. Aroma is rich with roast and creamy sweetness. Appearance is dark brown with a medium maintained tan head. Flavor is sweet and roasty, with some black toast bittering. Mouthfeel is full bodied with low but somewhat biting carb texture. Overall, very good and rich.

Tasted at the Powerstation at the Edgefield resort. Black, with thin tan head. Almost no aroma. Sweet and smooth, with a bit of a sweet finish that obscures any hops. Like a watered down molasses.

Draft at McMenamins Queen Anne. Pitch black, very little head. Almost no apparent aroma, at least not in this "scent filled" bar. Rich flavors of dark roasted coffee. Sweet, warming finish. Nice session stout.

At Old St. Francis School in Bend. Pours opaque with all sorts of roasty nutty flavors. Coffee, chocolate, crisp and easy, slightly dry bitter finish. I would have another of these. A decent stout indeed.
