On draft at Mac’s. Rated it blind to RB at 3.4 and the consensus got one right for a change. Faint aroma, hardly a head, medium strong flavor, not a huge way from suggesting Imperialness, but otherwise pretty much run of the mill for a micro stout.

I find mcmenamin’s brew to be quite excellent regardless of the style, and this stout is no exception. Remarkably heavy and strong on malts, yet still enough hops. This beer terminated me

Sampled this one on draught at the McMenamin’s Six Arms brewpub in Seattle, WA. I have visited quite a few McMenamins in OR, and Six Arms in Seattle. Terminator Stout has been consistanly one of my favorites, if not favorite McM’s beer. This beer has sometimes been refered to "PNW Stout", due to the fact it has a good dose of PNW hops. This beer pours to a opaque, black color, with a thick, creamy, off white head, and a moderate carbonation. The nose is very nice, with some fragrant piney hops, paired with some good chocolate and mild roasty aroma. The palate is soft on the tongue, with good chocolate, mild coffee, and touches of estery fruit flavors. This beer finishes with more good chocolate and coffee flavors up front, then ends with a pleasing piney hop and light roasty finish that lingers. Very flavorful, very drinkable stout,. My go to McM’s beer that matches well with pub grub, deserts, or as a nice socialable pint.

Opaque black body with a massive tan head. So much that they had trouble filling the glass with liquid instead of foam. Medium body and carbonation. Somewhat mild-mannered for a stout. It doesn’t so much have a finish as it sort of wanderers off into nothingness.

Draft at the Mill Creek brewpub. Pours opaque black, headless, nearly laceless. Odd burnt chocolate nose. Kinda watery and flat on the attack, though it picks up a bit of fizz on the mid-palate (not sure how they pulled this off). Very chocolatey mid-palate, along with an off strawberry note. Piney cling on the finish...safe to say this comes out of nowhere. 10-15 years ago, I thought this beer showed a lot of promise. Now I wonder what I must’ve been thinking.

Draft at Sherwood pub. Dark brown, but not opaque, with burnt amber highlights and a thin beige head. Roasty, chocolate and floral aroma, flavor matches the aroma and adds a little dark fruit to the bitter roastiness. Full body and creamy carbonation. Quite servicable stout.

Draft at Six Arms, Seattle. Smooth and creamy -- typical stout appearance. Toasted vanilla flavors. Wonderfully smooth aftertaste. A very pleasing stout -- special and satisfying!
