Feb 13, 2007 Draft: Very deep brown with a medium tan head and moderate lacing. Heavy aroma of roasted malt. Taste included roasted malt, coffee, bittersweet chocolate, and some smokiness. Nice, thick body. Not overly complex, but quite satisfying.

Feb 6, 2007 Tap... Opaque, dark brown with a thin beige head. Not much of an aroma, just a little malty in character. Smooth, low carbonated palate with a slight sizzle on the tongue, flavors of malt, a little cocoa and something plant-like that is balanced by a sweet nutty quality. Finished tart and clean.

Feb 5, 2007 Poured black with a small tan head. Nice aroma of roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. The taste however was watery. Light on the roast. Light semi-dry and bitter finish. The aroma was much better than the flavor.

Jan 24, 2007 Draught @ Lighthouse Brewpub, Lincoln City, OR. June 2005. Pours a black colour with a small tan head. Roasted malty aroma with hints of chocolate and coffee. Roasted malty flavor with chocolate and some weak hints of coffee. Malty finish with some roasted hints.

Dec 30, 2006 Bottle. Pitch black colour with a nice head. Light aroma of chocolate and mild roastedness. Mild flavour of roastedenss and chocolate. Very mild and easy to drink.

Dec 26, 2006 It’s an okay stout on it’s own. My recommendation is to mix equal parts of ruby and terminator to make a rubinator. Very popular and a good drink.
