harrisoni (6703), Ashford, Kent, England Nov 6, 2006 On tap at The Ram Hotel, Portland. I took this back as to my taste it was sour and off. I was assured it was fine. I was given a fresh sample and told it was fine even though it tasted the same. It is black with a beige head. Almost entirely awful. Sour, off and disgusting. I can’t drink it. troopie (851), USA Nov 5, 2006 Bomber from Mcmenamins. Thick brown lasting head. Black, passes 100 watt test. Medium mouth, with a hoppish finish. Bittersweet chocolate and coffe notes. Shag (1922), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA Nov 5, 2006 This one would definitley fall under the dry stout category for me. A black appearance with a coffee and charcoal aroma. The flavor is somewhat bitter with some coffee and licorice notes. The mouthfeel is rather light. No sweetness to be found in this one. Overall a pretty good stout. sunevdj (1765), Copenhagen OE, Denmark Nov 3, 2006 Blind rating, American Beer Tastings at Sk8viking´s. Pours black with a yellowish head. Nice but kinda thin with hints of coffee. Some band aid and oats. Medium bodied. ABUSEDGOAT (1934), California, USA Nov 2, 2006 Black body with a relatively light tan head. Aroma is a mix of chocolate, roast, coffee, caramel and nuts. Everything about it was average. Just ’another’ stout. The fact that half the stuff there has ’Terminator Stout’ on it is a sign that it probably isn’t meant for a beer freak. ThomasE (5179), Copenhagen, Denmark Oct 23, 2006 Black colour with a brown head. Roasted malty aroma with some chocolate sweetness and some coffee bitterness. Roasted malty, light chocolate sweet flavor with notes of coffee. Carbonated. bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark Oct 15, 2006 Bottled. Black coloured with a medium sized head. Wonderfull aroma - but sadly when you taste it - it doesn’t keep it’s promises. Sadly. Really wonderfull aroma. Somewhat thin palate. Ungstrup (14754), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 11, 2006 A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of roasted malt and coffee. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of roasted malt, and coffee, that gets weaker as it runs thru the mouth. The end is dry and roasted, and underway the carbondioxide tickles the tongue.
