Draft: Very deep brown with a medium tan head and moderate lacing. Heavy aroma of roasted malt. Taste included roasted malt, coffee, bittersweet chocolate, and some smokiness. Nice, thick body. Not overly complex, but quite satisfying.

Black as the pits of hell, coffee in the nose, deliciously ’chewy’ full body -- plenty of texture, crisp with resounding hops.

Bottle from my friend in Oregon, thanks Rob. Pours out a nice black color with a tan head on it. Smell is full of roasted coffee and malts, perhaps a bit much carbonation at first. The taste is kind of thin and watery, not as thick as I was hoping it was going to be. By the end of the bottle it basically serves as a session stout. Not bad, but perhaps not really something I want to revisit. Worth trying once though.

Pours a one finger light brown head that fades quickly leaving traces of lace. Near black color. Light carbonation and heavy bodied. Roasted coffee nose. Starts as sweet roasted coffee and stays that way. Nice chewy stout. $4.25 for a 22oz bottle from the brewery in Troutdale, Or.

Poured black from a 22 oz bottle with robust tan head and good lacing. Nose of roasted malts with chocolate and coffee. Smooth mouthfeel. Light bodied for a stout. Roasted malt flavor. Dry bitter finish.

On tap at the Tigard location. Pours an almost black color without much head. Some ok lacing. Nose is of molasses and coffee. Palate is chocolate, coffee and malt. A bit thin mouthfeel. A decent session stout.

Bottle Pours a nearly opaque black with redish brown edges. Nice full creamy light tan head and heavy sheets of sturdy lacing. Aroma is that dark roasted malts, sweet prunes, grape jelly. A slightly sour slant as well. It tastes pretty middle of the road, dark roast, but not over the top. Some coffee and old campfire. Not overly bittered but not very strong either. Smooth but not very heavy feel. Nicely balanced basic stout. Thanks for the tradeKenb
