Deep dark body, heavy roasted chocolate malt. Light burnt coffee notes. Uninspired.

7/18/08 On draught at the Kennedy School. Aroma is rich with roast and creamy sweetness. Appearance is dark brown with a medium maintained tan head. Flavor is sweet and roasty, with some black toast bittering. Mouthfeel is full bodied with low but somewhat biting carb texture. Overall, very good and rich.

Why the hell can I see through this brew? I was intimidated by Arnold the "Terminator" but not by this stuff. Pretty subdued in all aspects. Not to say that it isn't good, it's just that there is nothing about this beer that makes it anything other than a dime a dozen. Well rounded and well balanced. Some dark chocolate, some coffee notes and a somewhat complex finish, but again, I dont see the raves about it.

On draft at Mac’s. Rated it blind to RB at 3.4 and the consensus got one right for a change. Faint aroma, hardly a head, medium strong flavor, not a huge way from suggesting Imperialness, but otherwise pretty much run of the mill for a micro stout.

Tap @ six arms. Good black pour with attractive head. Smoked out malts and sweet vanilla ice cream flavors work well together and provide a good balance for this brew which has dusty drying hop echoes in the finish. Nice.

Sample at Dad Watson’s. Dark brown with ruby highlights. Dark molasses, buckwheat honey, and raisin bran aromas. Sweet , with mild chocolate, prune, and tar flavors. Medium bodied.

Very dark brown color with a small beige head. Strong roasted coffee bean aroma, with a little malt. Lots of coffee, some malt and chocolate. Good.
