Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, light roasted, malt extract - syrup. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Bottle from the Mcmullens pub in Crews Hill, London. Alround rating: Toffe caramel malts, light hopping adding mainly bitterness, but some leafy hop character, slightly mopre carbonated than i expected. Head to head with the cask, cask ale, theres no comparison.

275ml bottle from Shropshire. Vintage 1989. Mildly carbonated. Soft toffee flavour. Fairly light, almost watery texture. Very faint cardboard. Quite drinkable and pleasant.

Bottle at The Old Beams, Shenley Lodge, Milton Keynes. Dark amber with a large white head. Faint malt aroma, slightly sweet. Thin watery taste with hints of cardboard and styrofoam. Low bitterness. Not very nice.
