COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Champ Ale is a West Coast style pale ale. Also somewhat citrusy, it has notes of concord grapes both in the flavor and the nose. Made from a blend of British and domestic malts, it has a light red or pale rose color and very high drinkability.

Nice golden-orange hue witha solid rocky head. Tantalizing grapefruit/floral hop nose. The flavour has a good hop bite, grapefruit and piney hop flavours with just the right amount of caramel malt flavour and a hint of chocolate malt to balance. A fantastic APA!

Pours a light copper with a thick eggshell-colored head. Fresh, clean hoppy aroma blanced with lots of sweet caramel malt. Great tasting sweet butterscotch body well balanced with a piney hop bitterness. Very smooth, refreshing and drinkable.

Golden amber hue. Small sticky white head. Malt nose, light herbal hop aroma. I love this stuff. Starts light and smooth, sweet malt...Then its all hops, herbal, bittering oh so nice. Another great specimen from Ray up in Brattleboro.

Aroma is lovely, dry English malts. A nice bitter German hop. English bitter dryness. Some ringwood yeast? Appearance is cloudy as hell amber orange. Lots of sediment. Gorgeous bog of lace. Good head retention. The flavor is sweet-but-dry malts with definite yeast. Hint of sour apple; tastes fresh. The hop is bitter spruce, grassy. Bready, earthy malts with a bitter, bready finish. Some flowery pollen. The palate is prickly and dry. Thick. A good English bitter/German Kolsch hybrid. English face with a German booty.

Bottle. Medium sweet spicy citrus aroma. Body is hazy reddish orange with a very large off-white head. Flavor a delightful blend of pineapple and moderately sweet caramel, some bitterness. Lengthy finish that is bitter and satisfying. Very nice stuff.
