[Cask at GBBF 2004] An amber beer with no head. The aroma is very grassy and the so is the flavor - it tastes like eating fresh hops - too much for me. The hops dries out the mouth.

Muddy brown unfiltered, with great head retention. Has a cascade nose. The taste has plenty of hops, but the maltiness comes more to the fore in the taste. Slightly creamy in texture, and solid bitter aftertaste. Overall, a great beer.

Bomber from Carl K. Pours bright copper with a 3 finger frothy beige head. Aroma is floral and lightly malty with a touch of citrus. Med body. Flavor is light roast caramel with something like grapefruit rind. I have no idea where the floral went. The finish is nice bitter somewhat conquering tasty caramel. I still think there’s floral in the aroma. Nice ale.

Bottle. Poured hazy brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted malt and bitter aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable beer.

Ruby amber ale with a big bubbled off white head. Classy british hops and caramel malt aroma. Restrained malts and lightlly pungeant hops in mouth, with good citrus notes. Very classy. On tap Feb. 10, 2006.

Cask at McNeill’s. hazy amber beer, creamy tan head. Fresh hoppy aroma. Spicy and fairly woody. Nice fresh bready back note with a light mineral quality. Soft texture, with an excellent balance of woody UK-type hops and toasty pale malt. Lightly resiny.
