A golden ale with a thick creamy white head. A light berry malt with german hops. In mouth, a nice crisp a,tl, sweetish, with strawberry notes. Medium bodied. On tap at brewpub August 2 2009.

Aside from a bottle that looked like it had been rolled from the brewery to the store, it’s a pretty good brewski. Fairly pale and thin, but it’s balanced with a good deal of lemony spice. I like this beer and, as it’s fairly cheap, I’d get it again.

22 oz bottle via Firemoose(thanks!). Pours a hazy gold with a tiny white head. Nose is spicey with notes of lemon, pepper and yeast. Tastes just like it smells with lots of pepper and even some grassy hops in the finish. Not at all what i expected. I think it is turning bad...as it is pretty sourish for a Kolsh

Pours to a hazy amber/orangish body with a nice creamy head. The aroma is very nice. So original. Torrified wheat, grassy breads, other undescribables but it smells wonderful. The flavor is an ultra-toasty bready butter and oil. Tastes pretty good too. The palate is medium bodied, creamy, nicely coating. This is the best Kolsh I’ve had.

Bottle. Hazy orange-amber body, thin white head. Bread yeast over a light oily smoke and tree leaf hops. In the flavor the oily, leafy hops come to the front alongside the bread yeast. Additionally there’s a pale malt backing. Medium mouthfeel, not too light. An enjoyable malty pale beer.

Pale, yet colorful gold color, hazy body. Love the way the haze catches the light. Thin creamy white head. Nice aroma of grassy butterscotch toffee. Thin mouthfeel, fizzy. Would say thin flavor too but because better after tastebud acclamation. Bittersweet fruit and grain, some yeast. Maybe some honey. Good overall average beer. Seems more summery than "wintery".

Clean yeasty mineral spicy grassy hops. Very full bodied, sharp finish. Unfiltered, with a small crackly head. Good.

Out of a bomber. Aroma primarily earthy. Appearance is a slightly hazen yellow light white cap. Flavor is good, floral grassy hop combination still the eartheness is still there. Palate was ok and rather light with just a tinge of bitterness hanging on. Overall it tasted better than it smelled but the earthen yeast seems to overshadow this beer.
