On tap at Rattle n Hum. Pours a mostly clear ruby tinged amber brown with a thin beige head. Soft sweet caramel, malt and toast. Medium bodied. Gentle earthy malt note, a bit of sweet caramel, toast and a soft bitterness on the finish. Nice and easy drinking, with a very light alcohol note that shows up, but is not overly intrusive.

bottle thanks to the farmer known as cletus. poured amberish almost brown with a beige head. aroma was caramel, toffee, dark fruit, slight finger nail polish, and brown sugar. flavor was caramel, grape, and alcohol. body was medium with medium carbonation. A really enjoyable old ale, especially because I am tired of hops right now.
