3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Barcade, NY tap ($6): Pours a murky brown with a tan head. Aroma is sugar, dark fruits, and loads of malt and stuff. Beer is really sweet, possibly too sweet. Loads of malts and stuff. Body is thick and heavy, but still drinkable enough I suppose. Some complexity. This ain’t my favourite.

Gentle earthy malt note, a bit of sweet caramel, toast and a soft bitterness on the finish. Nice and easy drinking, with a very light alcohol note that shows up, but is not overly intrusive.
