Pretty decent porter. Dark and rich with a more acidic aftertaste than you’d think. Lots of chocolate though.

Bomber. Pours black with a nice foamy tan head. Aromas of roasted malts, coffee, and some chocolate. Flavor is full of roasted goodness, light caramel, bitter coffee, and smooth carbonation. Nice brew and easy drinking. Could use lighter carbonation though

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bomber from Whole Foods Market Paramus. Pours a clear very dark brown color with a large frothy brown head. Good head retention. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts, leafy hops and a faint tartness. The taste is very dry roasted malts, chocolate, bitter hops, green almost olive notes. Medium bodied. Interesting,

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Location: 22 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 9/21/12
Aroma: The aroma has bittersweet chocolate, roasted barley, some coffee, and hoppy notes
Appearance: It pours a dark brown color with a thick, pillowy, light brown head and heavy lacing
Flavor: The taste is bittersweet chocolate and coffee, with a fairly heavy hop presence for this style
Palate: The body is medium-full, though it feels slightly watery, and it end with a dry finish
I thought this was a pretty solid, leaning hoppy, Porter. It may not have been exactly on style, but this was a nice beer that I enjoyed drinking.
