UPDATED: JUL 13, 2006 Bottle. Pours a dark (almost black) color with a fine, foamy brown head. Aroma is woody with notes of bittersweet chocolate and touch of alcohol. Nice mouthfeel and carbonation with an awesome bitter, coffee-spiked, finish. Flavor is nice and toasty. A well-crafted beer with a medium/full body.

Bottle from my Vermont trip. Black pour with a brown head. Aroma is bittersweet chocolate and coffee. Flavor is the same with a dry and roasty finish. I usually dont like "dry" type stouts, but this one is damn good. Wow.

(22oz bottle) Purchased at Winooski Beverage in Winooski, VT. Pours a thin, brown, frothy head which dissipates quickly atop the opaque body. Nose of strong coffee and bitter chocolate. The flavour is all out coffee with an oily and fizzy texture. Bitter hops in the finish beat around by the coffee bully. I like this a lot!

Bouteille-Senteur chocolatée, grain de café, moins torrifié que la Saint-Ambroise Stout mais il n’en demeure pas moins que c’est une très bonne stout.--Bottle-Chocolate smell, coffe grains, less torified than Saint-Ambroise Stout but still, it’s a very goo stout.
