COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ruby is a more fully blown version of the amber style. While beefier than the Firehouse, it contains a deep Ruby color, a powerful nose and a flavor of concord grapes and loads of carame. 2006 National Champion Amber at the USBTC.

I forget who brought this to Paul’s party, but thanks.

Poured a cloudy dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel and citrus. Taste is bland and lightly hoppy, with a bit of citrus and a dry bitter finish. Thought this was an amber ale; didn’t feel quite hoppy enough to be an IPA.

This is very much a watered down arrogant bastard. Not that it is a bad thing, AB is a great beer, and this shares aroma and flavors, just muted. The palate is thin and the malt is a bit underwhelming. Hops are aided by the the great fresh hop aroma.

Orange body with thin ringing white head. Pine caramel aroma. Roasted malt caramel woody flavor. Light refreshing palate with clean finish.

Thanks to hopdog... Appears a cloudy amber with a small white head and little lacing. Smell is of caramel, and oakiness with a bitter hoppiness. Taste is of caramel, slight oak, perhaps ringwood yeast in the mix. Mouthfeel is bitter and slightly water with hops lingering in the background. Drinkability isn’t bad. Enjoyable. I’d get this again.

Poured a medium to darker amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of pine, caramel, flowers and a woody-oakiness to it. Tastes of caramel, pine, and wood. Lightly sweet and medium bitterness. Nice hoppy burps.

Bomber per Eyedrinkale. It shipped and the cap came off slightly. As such, we’re drinking it now. The carbonation is still nice. Big foamy white head and nice lacing atop a amber/mahogany body. The aroma is floral, citrus, weedy, graham crackers. The hops are quite present in the flavor. I’m getting a dandelion and citrus hops. Lots of hop resin present in the palate.

an off orange color w/ a tall off white head well laced w/ visibile carbonation. large citrus and floral hop aromas and some nice carmel malt and grahm crackers. Palate is sticky and well coated but not overly creamy. FLavor is a dry grass and citrus hop, hints of carmel malt and some floral flavors. Pretty good stuff. Thanks to Blake for sharing.
