Bottle, 6.0%. Perfumy malt aroma. Clear amber colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is sweet, yeasty and perfumy with a touch of metal in the finish. Come to think of it, it is more than a touch, it is a distinct iron flavour like many other beers from this company. I do not get any smoke.

Utterly forgettable.

Dark organge. Diminishing beige head. Brett, berries and caramel in aroma. Dry and quite carbonated. Not much, if any, smoke or peat in taste.

Shared bottle during RBHD Mosterøl gathering. Misty deep orange golden body with an off-white film. Berries, caramel and toffee on the nose. Light acidic, malty and faint whiskey peat notes in the mouth. Medium bodied and a dry tongue.

Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting, from CITTI-Markt Flensburg. Orange colour, moderate off-white head. Aroma of caramel, toffee and whisky malts, not unpleasant. Fairly bland flavour, not offensive but boring. Some caramel and dust, not nearly as much smoke as expected.

Beer brewed with Whisky Malt - interesting to say the least. Somewhat difficult to evaluate as it is a different from what I have had in recent times. The aroma and appearance is appetizing, the taste is not fully round but sweet and almost ale-like qualities. Thoughts come up of drinking Mead in a rural pub.

Dark amber, airy offwhite head. Skunky aroma, taste is sweetish, very metallic, not very pleasant, kind of like nosebleed... Aftertaste is long, unfortunately. No smoke.

flemmingwillum (1001) - Nysted, DENMARK - AUG 6, 2013

Bottle. Pours clear amber with airy off-white head. Unpleasant aroma of booze with skunky and ashy notes. disagreeable flavour of iron with some ashy and caramellish notes. Metallic aftertaste. Fascinating in its ugliness. Yuck, gentlemen.
