Brings back good memories of hanging in NYC when underage. Love this place if only for the memories of a wild night. Motto of this place, if you aren’t drinking, you need to give up your seat and leave. Don’t remember much about the beer.

brings back memories of 2007 and 2008. Certainly not very tasty but not bad either, very good for a really really drunk session as the dive of a bar macsorleys is. Does down easily in a pub where the beer is not really the best thing about it

Guessing this was the ’light’ beer at the NYC pub. A very drinkable session beer with more of a malty base. I preferred the dark.

Bag of coins, Copper, white head. Metal malts, Very unnecessary and poor beer. Almost ruined dinner.

Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.my God its only barely a month since i went alone to New York City and what a beautiful,unique,great blast i had myself,and since good memories are savoured with great moments and a great drink,i must warn you all that my review may be partial because of my experience.Well here we go,the beer didnt had much aroma but had a quite sticky and sweet -malty palate ,yeap vainilla and/or butterscotch may be fair to its description ,very little carbonation,beautiful tan body and white head when poured at the typical mug at that pub.What can i say? A masterpiece....pure and simple.

On tap at McSorley’s NYC on 29th July 2011. Quite mild-flavoured, light hoppy and slightly caramelly in aroma and in mouth, refreshing zingy texture but shortlived bittersweet end. A quencher on a day when it was 32C in the shade.

Kind of meh....had this on tap at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, NY. But of a sour taste to it. No head to speak of....oh well
