UPDATED: MAR 25, 2014 Het is een frissere porter. weinig schuim. Smaak word beter hoe langer je hem laat staan. Lekker voor als je een niet te zoete porter wil

UPDATED: APR 15, 2014 It poured with that typical Porter richness and thick creamy amber head. The aroma hinted of chocolate but was a little masked. Very nice mouthfeel not overtly bitter and the light acidity had almost ctitrus like notes. I think this is where we can make that chocolate comparison. I should mention the temperature might have been a bit too chilled but it worked. Even though it’s a rich beer it was still very refreshing. I’d stock this because it will appeal to a wide range of people.

A slight chocolate aroma come with this deep brown clear brew with no head at all. No bueno. Sot too sweet and not to bitter. Not very carbonated. Choc aftertaste and medium bodied. Tastes more like a choc coke than a porter. Try it. Rate it. Prolly not a good 6 pack

Pours a dark beer with a nice beige head. Smells chocolaty and malty. Tastes really chocolaty and a bit bitter. Has a light sweet after taste. And even a bit of vanilla aroma. I really dig the taste. I for sure will buy this again.

Bottle from Waitrose, Glasgow. Not as rich and sumptuous as I thought itd be, quite a bit fizzier too with a milkier texture. Dusty chocolate comes through but not too overbearing. Overall not bad but expected more.

Aroma: Coffee and dank cereal. Hint of chocolate. Develops a soapy nose.Chocolate develops later. Appearance: Brown with ruby edges. Minimal head, Taste: Sourness leading to coffee and black chocolate and a dank cereal aftertaste. Palate: Medium bodied, slick, soft-medium carbonation long coffee finish, Overall: Not bad but nothing special. Would have liked more chocolate in the taste.

Very dark, ruby-red beer with a brown firm layer of foam. Sweet caramel aroma with the touch of chocolate. The taste of chocolate returns, but like a dark-bitter one. This moves on into a long bitter aftertaste with a dry palate.
