4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottled, 0.33l. Clear dark brown color with large creamy brownish head and lively bubbles. Aroma of strong coffee, roasted malt, caramel, dark chocolate and fruity hops. Taste starts with sweet chocolate and rich roasted malt, while following is coffee-like and refreshing sour grainy. Mouthfeel is warm and spicy, while aftertaste is long and moderate bitter. Full body, thick texture and average carbonation in palate. Sweet roasted symphony :)

33 cl bottle. It is a very nice chocolate beer, with a harmonic chocolate taste. Not sweet and not too bitter also. Foam is light, body is medium maybe, but aroma is the virtue of Meantime. You canít feel coffee just choco and a little beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle @ home. Aroma is roasty malt, caramel, chocolate and a strong cereal something. Flavour is creamy malty roasty metallic something. Alluminium wrapper combined with cheap bitter chocolate in the finish. Meh.
Better after a while, the chocolate takes over in a nice creamy malty way. +.5

Brown reddish pour, thin off white head.
Aroma of buttery white chocolate and dutch(ed) cacao with some Haagse hopjes. (A traditional coffee candy from The Hague)
Flavour is watery Haagse hopjes. Canít think of any other description now Iíve come up with this.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Labeled as "Chocolate Porter", donít know where the disconnect is. Dark brown colored pour with ruby highlights. Sizable off-white head that doesnít last. Little bit of lacing. Big coffee aroma with a hint of chocolate. Taste is huge chocolate with just a hint of roasted barley and coffee. Smooth and creamy. Very nice beer.

Dark, dusky porter ale with rich coffee and chocolate undertones. Distinctive taste that lays nicely on the pallet. Strength is above average but this doesnít seem to come through when drinking. Nice now and then for a change!
