"Porter style Ale. Chocolate and beer! Are we Mad? We’d rather say passionate. We marry the soothing flavour of this complex malt barley grist with a hint of dark chocolate. This is a beer for your more self-indulgent moments. Great for lazy afternoons or long evenings, it is best served chilled with your feet up, watching the sun go down. Like we say – chilled."
"A silky-smooth suppertime beer, created using dark malts and chocolate. Pronounced vanilla notes fuse the chocolate and malts together to give a rich, warming, flavour that also works well as a complement to fruity desserts, summer puddings and autumn berries."

Dark brown beer with low head. Chocolate and some tobacco aromas. Slight metallic off-flavour. Less intense flavour than expected. In mouth again chocolate aromas and some coffee and lactic nuances. Bitter taste. Very low carbonation and watery mouthfeel. Dry end Filip

330ml brown bottle. Pours out deep brown and clear. Creamy beige head, very lacey. Nose has chocolate, caramel, brown sugar and molasses. Taste - chocolate, caramel, brown sugar. Chocolate and molasses finish, light bitterness. A bit thin, but some good flavours.

Rownolegle pite butelki Meantime Chocolate Porter i Coffee Porter. Z wygladu oba piwa podobne - ciemne (choc daleko od czarnych - bursztynoiwe przeblyski ewidentne), przejrzyste (choc to malo widac) z dosc szybko redukujaca sie piana (w wersji coffee nieco wyzsza). Aromaty w obu w tle podobne - czyli karmel, palonosc lekka, w wersji czekoladowej... hmmm... aromat chemiczny jakis faktycznie czekoladopodobny zas w wersji coffee cos na ksztalt kakao. Wersja kawowa: akceptowalnie w calosci, wersja czekoladowa w calosci nieakceptowalnie ;) czyli powiedzmy 3.0 i 2.5

Negro con reflejos rubí y espuma beis compacta. Aromas de chocolate y cacao. Cuerpo ligero, sabor de chocolate dulce y final seco tostado.

330ml bottle pours black in color with a finger of tan head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is dominated by chocolate with some roasted grains and notes of vanilla. Taste is a roasted grain bitterness with a chocolate malty sweetness and vanilla. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, a nicely crafted porter with a good balance of flavours. Recommended.

Smells and tastes like chocolate. The flavour is also of malts with some bitterness (cocoa is naturally bitter, so this combination works well). It does have a bit of a lager-ish foundation but it's the chocolate takes centre stage and shines like a dark star. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark brown, with a short lasting off- white head. Medium body, with just a bit of carb. Aroma of drinking chocolate. Tastes of rich chocolate with a touch of vanilla. Malts definite!y take second billing.

0.3 bottle poured into sensoric glass. Dark brown with quite short-lasting, tan head. Plenty of dark chocolate, some caramel and little of coffee, hoppy and roasty notes. Taste, again, is dominated by chocolate. Slightly sour from dark malts with herbal-like hoppy notes at the end. Light bodied (even a bit watery for a porter) with low carbo. Decent.

A foam that is almost too much is the first sight greets when pouring. Fantastic light brown foam that slowly accumulates to a fragrant dark brown material. From the glass flowing a delightful aromas of dark chocolate, and even at distance I sense that I am sitting with something delicious in the glass. Besides chocolate it has a malty aroma where also hop occurs. The coarse foam remains on top after several minutes. The taste is not as expected a deep chocolate flavor, but chocolate is the main theme of this ale. Good rich dark bitter chocolate taste immediately through, but there is also room for a slightly roasted malt with slight hints of coffee. The aftertaste is limited to a little watery feeling with slight hop bitterness.

Rich dark brown colour with a beige head. Smells of roasted coffee, caramel and malted chocolate (think Horlicks). It has an eclectic taste of malt, fruit, chocolate, hops, and coffee. It is both sweet and bitter and leaves a lengthy taste of bitter mocha in your mouth.

Piana drobna, brązowa. Dziurawi się i opada. Kolor mocnej herbaty, klarowne. Dość jasny jak na portera. W aromacie nuty porterowe, trochę ziemiste, czekolada i lekki chmiel. W drugiej nucie wyraźne ziarna kakaowca. Bardziej kakao niż czekolada. Przyjemny, lekki, świeży zapach. W smaku bardzo wyraźna nuta czekoladowa, sporo kakao. Właściwei tłumi wszystko inne. Lekko kwaskowate od ciemnych słodów. Lekkie ale nie wodniste. Dobry angielski porter, chociaż pretenduje do bałtyckiego.
