COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cold fermented and lagered. Only available in 330ml bottles.
"Porter style Ale. Chocolate and beer! Are we Mad? We’d rather say passionate. We marry the soothing flavour of this complex malt barley grist with a hint of dark chocolate. This is a beer for your more self-indulgent moments. Great for lazy afternoons or long evenings, it is best served chilled with your feet up, watching the sun go down. Like we say – chilled."
"A silky-smooth suppertime beer, created using dark malts and chocolate. Pronounced vanilla notes fuse the chocolate and malts together to give a rich, warming, flavour that also works well as a complement to fruity desserts, summer puddings and autumn berries."

It pours a big beige head which persists not so long; very nice bouquet of dark chocolate, vanilla, mature fruit, banana, hints of spices. It’s taste is mellow and less roasty than i expected. Pleasant aftertaste of choco and coffee. Maybe I’d prefer it a little bit less chocolatey, but it’s though a very good beer.

Aroma of malt, dark chocolate, cocoa, some coffee. Flavour is medium sweet with a moderate bittersweet finish. Okay chocolate Porter, could be a bit thicker and more aromatic though.

Zlotta (100) - Bonn, GERMANY - NOV 24, 2014
0,33 l bottle from EDEKA Mohr in Bonn. Clear, dark reddish-brown to almost black with foamy, stable, tan head. Weak aroma of dark chocolate, cocoa, roasted malts and coffee. Some vinous notes in the end. Sweetish, malty, heavy taste of dark chocolate and cocoa with hints of coffee. Slightly bitter finish. Very nice! Full-bodied, creamy texture, no carbonation. Very good beer. I could drink much more than just this small bottle.

330 ml bottle @ The Local Pub, Athens Greece. Opaque black color with a beige white head. Aroma of chocolate and grains. Taste is black chocolate, malts, caramel. Not bad but pretty one-sided. Body is light with medium carbonation. What the name says. Not bad.

Bottle from Waitrose. Pours dark ruby red with 2cm off white head, dissapates quickly. Aroma is real chocolate, vanilla and dark fruits. Medium mouthfeel, could be thicker. Taste is quite sweet, chocolate vanilla and slight coffee, sufficient bitterness on the back end. I was dubious about this but surprisingly good, especially for less than 2 quid!

Great black appearance with beige head. Dark chocolate and coffee in the aroma. Tasty chocolate and bitterness in the taste. Texture is rather light, but also doesn’t have a high ABV. Nice.

Bottle. Black/brown, with a small head. Thin body. Aroma is of sour malt, strange. Taste is sweet, with malt and chocolate and subtle vanilla. Has a slight artifcial note to it. Okay beer.
