"Porter style Ale. Chocolate and beer! Are we Mad? We’d rather say passionate. We marry the soothing flavour of this complex malt barley grist with a hint of dark chocolate. This is a beer for your more self-indulgent moments. Great for lazy afternoons or long evenings, it is best served chilled with your feet up, watching the sun go down. Like we say – chilled."
"A silky-smooth suppertime beer, created using dark malts and chocolate. Pronounced vanilla notes fuse the chocolate and malts together to give a rich, warming, flavour that also works well as a complement to fruity desserts, summer puddings and autumn berries."

Thx. to Dylan / Kraddel - 33 cl. Italian looking beer bottle split - dark brown red hued with a very small white head - smell is sweet round, pure pure milk and tad praline chocolate - taste is close to same, pure round sweet milk, praline chocolate, light touch of vinous coffee, hint of roast and ice coffee, sweet malts - medium chocolate bodied - it is like drinking milk chocolate - awesome

I tried this beer on June 17, 2010 at "Smokeless Joe’s" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a black colour with a thin tan ring. The aroma was dark chocolate, cocoa, and a faint hint of hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation, and a smooth feel. The flavour was scrumptious with a nice velvety slightly chocolate taste in every mouthfeel, and a nice bitter finish.

Pours a near pitch black with a tan head. Aroma features rich Belgian chocolate, spicy resiny hops and hints of berry fruit. On the palate there is mouth filling chocolate, sweet rich confected malt, and a touch of warming alcohol. Lovely beer!

Dark, dusky porter ale with rich coffee and chocolate undertones. Distinctive taste that lays nicely on the pallet. Strength is above average but this doesn’t seem to come through when drinking. Nice now and then for a change!

Bottled, 0.33l. Clear dark brown color with large creamy brownish head and lively bubbles. Aroma of strong coffee, roasted malt, caramel, dark chocolate and fruity hops. Taste starts with sweet chocolate and rich roasted malt, while following is coffee-like and refreshing sour grainy. Mouthfeel is warm and spicy, while aftertaste is long and moderate bitter. Full body, thick texture and average carbonation in palate. Sweet roasted symphony :)
