COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Avaialable in 330ml bottles only. Cold fermented and lagered.
May be known as Coffee Porter.
Our first formulation of this beer was the first UK brewed beer to carry the Fairtrade logo, and although we have reformulated it to create an even better blend better the malt and roast coffee flavours and can no longer get enough coffee in each bottle to qualify for Fairtrade status, we are still using the same Faitrade Araba Bourbon beans from Rwanda’s Abuhuzamugambi Co-operative. At the Meantime Brewing Co we love flavour, so it wasn’t exactly difficult for us to see how the scents and aromas of coffee and barley would create a perfect match like just like mint and lamb, toffee and banana, peaches and cream, peanut butter and jam. Serve lightly chilled with as many chocolate truffles as your conscience allows.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with a slight reddish hue along the edges. Small white head the clings to the far edge of the glass. Aroma has notes of coffee, dark chocolate and chilies. Nice flavor with subtle hoppiness in the finish.

Doftar fantastiskt. Öl och kaffedrömmar..belönade med banantoner. Kommer även att tänka på kahlua. Bra kroppstyp till denna typ av bryggd. Lång eftersmak. Slutsats: God som fan

Pours a very dark brown color with a small thin but well retained head.

The aroma is rich and lightly sweet. Plenty of roasty and vibrant coffee as well as chocolate and a bit of banana play well in the nose of this beer.

The flavor is roasty and fairly dry, fairly clean, and enjoyably bitter. The coffee is surprisingly bright and full, this is something I would have expected from draught beer at a local brewpub, not from an imported bottle!
Very nice.

If I only had one choice to choose from for my cigar, without a doubt I would go with a Meantime. Amazing complexity combined with strong notes of coffee and chocolate.

33cl bottle. BBE 10/2012. Poured dark mahogany with a beige head. Aroma is coffee, mocha and some roastedness. Flavor is similar with a quite dry finish. Light bodied, easy to drink.
