Draft at BA Trollhättan. Dark bitter chocolate brown with light tan head. Distinct cold coffee and lactic (coffee creamer) aroma. However it’s not the freshly ground coffee smell I favour, but rather the ”I’ve left the coffee filter in the sink overnight” stale coffee whiff. Initial sweet milk chocholate replaced by dry medium bitter finish.

Aug 22, 2008 clear dark brown under a medium sized creamy tan head. raw coffee bean and cream aroma. flavor is raw and bitter with a chocolaty hazelnut finish. hints of the lactose. a little too carbonated. light bodied.

Aug 21, 2008 Deep brown in colour with a long lasting creamy brown coloured head, excellent lacing. The aroma is of weak coffee, some cream, light roast, burnt, malty and sweet. The flavour is sweet with some noticable coffee roast, light smoke. Sweet and roasty mouthfeel, medium body, moderate carbonation. Finishes lingering, sweet with just a hint of black coffee bitterness.
The coffee is there but never in the forefront, quite nice all around.

Aug 21, 2008 Unsurprisingly, the coffee flavours dominate this dark brown, almost black, beer. although typically of a porter there are also notes of chocolate and roast. This is one of the better porters I’ve had this year.

Aug 19, 2008 A true rich bold roasted coffee flavor throughout. A very nice night cap beer, super coffee like, so if you dont care for that nevermind with this. On the other hand, if you are a coffee fanatic, try this!
