Oak Fermented Belgian Style Pale Ale weighs in at 4.36% making it a fly-weight beer by College Beer Club standards. It’s not all about strength though. It’s about giving a brewer his head and letting him use the materials to hand (not just raw materials in this case), in order to demonstrate the full range of aromas and flavours that the brewers’ craft can create.

Cloudy amber beer, small suddy white head. Smooth low carbonation palate. Interesting! Mildly sour intro with some seltzer flavours. Fresh orange, piney grapefruit with a trace of peach. Smooth finish, with mild bitterness. The hops and the sourness join up really well and are in excellent balance. If this just had a little condition it would have been a cracker, as it stands it was a very enjoyable and tasty beer.
