COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle conditioned. Also available on keg (filtered but not pasteurised).
Meantime are Britain’s only brewers of authentic India Pale Ale. Small batch production allows us to apply the attention to detail and care we require to produce an authentic IPA especially for you. Pound upon pound of Fuggles & Goldings hops are needed to enable us to achieve the dry hopping rates necessary to recreate this great beer style. Enjoy with hot foods and spicy friends, or vice versa.

Slightly cloudy orange, white soapy head. Nose is pine, tropical fruit, some gentle malty sweetness, some shortbread. Taste begins with slightly sweet malt and ends with a very citrusy, spicy and tropical and dry hoppy finish. Not very complicated, but the hoppiness is very nice. Easy to drink to boot.

corked 0.75l bottle from Sainsbury’s Paignton. Hazy golden colour, mid-sized white head. Lovely hop aroma. Medium-bodied, shy but solid malty base with lots of resiny hops, very slightly fruity, more resiny. Smooth palate. Very nice.

Bottle; hazy orange with small beige head; aroma-hay, citrus, grapefruit, coriander; taste-heavy sweetness, lightly bitter, medium body, thin feel, lively, bitter finish. Lighter than I expected, feels more like a Belgian.

The aroma is sweet, spicy, strange but enticing. The appearance is gold color, clear, white head. The flavor is spicy, sweet, weird, caramel. The finish is pine, floral hops. Medium in body, maybe slightly thin. Weird, but god. They must have an odd spicy type of hops they are using.

Bottle as in picture. Amber coloured with a white head. Subtle, but very present hoppy smell. Not as agressive as the American IPA’s. This is more gentle. Nice to smell the difference. Flavour is soft, gentle but very hoppy. Again the British hops (I believed they used two kinds of hop, one of them was British) making it really nice to drink. It’s not an attack on the tastebuds like some other IPA’s I’ve tasted, this is more subtle.

11.2 oz. bottle from Plaza Liquors - Glad I finally found a small bottle of the stuff. Light spotty lacing. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a one finger thick off white head. Aroma is pine, herbal, and light citrus hops. Flavor is lemony. Not sure if that’s the desired taste. Finish is kinda tart. Medium body. A decent beer.

A very good British style IPA. Nice hoppy aromas and taste. Balanced very well, and easy to go down.

With a bit of age this has mellowed out to something a bit special - really soft hop bitterness and flavour. Tasty. Judas priest!
