Meantime are Britain's only brewers of authentic India Pale Ale. Small batch production allows us to apply the attention to detail and care we require to produce an authentic IPA especially for you. Pound upon pound of Fuggles & Goldings hops are needed to enable us to achieve the dry hopping rates necessary to recreate this great beer style. Enjoy with hot foods and spicy friends, or vice versa.

Red-brown beer with big white head. Aroma is quite mild, some pine needles, fruits and lemon. Flavour is nice sweetness together with bitter, resin, grapefruit and citrus fruits. Nice carbonation with medium body makes this beer nice to drink. Citrus fruits with some nuancees from US IPA but this is not so fruitfull and there are some balancing sweetnes. Big bottle disappears quicly that is good sign of great brewing.

definitive English IPA. if you like your IPA’s with a nice piney, citrusy flavor, forget this. if this beer was made in the states it would be a solid APA. fuggles and goldings hops do not perform the best for an IPA and this one proves that, not bad, good alcohol content, nice smoothness, but not what a true blooded american looks for in an IPA.

Flavors of old dry hops, unbalanced spices, and old tea. Gave me a headache. OK, I can get down with British style IPAs, but this just missed the mark. The bottle is probably a year old. Maybe its best when its super fresh. Regardless, I can’t give this high marks as this was a poor drinking experience. Won’t recommend this to anyone at my store. In fact, I’m putting it on close out. Please go away....

750ml bottle, shared with Stefan 24.Oct.09 at Hell Hunt, Tallinn. Clear amber, with large but diminishing, white foamy head. Flowery aroma with notes of pineapple and orange. Tastes of hops and dates, with hints of tangerine, cinnamon, cardamom and brown sugar. Pleasant citrus finish.

Good traditional English IPA. Aromas of pine and truffles. Grassy flavour. Malt backbone backing up huge grassy/citrussy hop attack. Some earthy notes. Long bitter finish. Beautiful.

Fruity bouquet of strawberries, pears, apples, grass, and pine needles. Shimmering amber with a medium yellowish head. Nice balance of light malt and hops, no impression of extraneous flavors. Pine needle finish, creamy mouthfeel. Very beery and a good example of a true English style IPA.

Ok, very lively and shiny orange beer. Nicotine yellow head which is big and snap-crackle-poppy. The aroma is buttery with a thick, heavy layer of booziness. Hops and light malts vie for the attention of your nose. Very green and herbal with a light soapiness in there too. In the mouth it is hugely flavoursome. A tingly biscuit quickly gives way to the piny hops which then give a very citric, almost shandy like freshness. The hefty percentage is definitely apparent though not to an ugly extent in the mouth. This has a wonderful progression of flavours with loads of satsuma knocking about in the finish. Pretty awesome.
