| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 10, 2009 On tap at Tria. Pours a yellow-orange with a thick white head. Aroma of mild citrus and grassy hops. Flavor of sweet malt, not really hoppy at all. Chill, ok, with a smooth palate. Decent, but not what I was expecting for an IPA.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 5, 2009 750ml bottle. Poured a very clear orange color with medium tan head that retained well with lacing that was mediocre. Smell was very citrusy.
Taste was different than an American IPA. Hop taste in this one was a bit different than expected. Lots of fruity/citrusy hops and a tad bit of a caramel malt background and a tad bit sweet. Not too thin, not too thick, good carbonation. No bitter aftertaste at all.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 2, 2009 75cl bottle, cellared for a year. Deep copper, lacey pale head. Flowery hoppy aroma, nice fruitiness (kiwi, passionfruit), little alcohol, maltiness and faint chalk. Flowey hoppy flavor, toffee, kiwi fruitiness and mild pine. Shows some alcohol. Nice round and smooth, sweetish palate with enough balancing bitterness. The younger sister of Chouffe’s IPA tripel, just lovely. minch25 (355), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 30, 2008 Opened with a pop. Pours foxy orange, thick persistent head. Great aroma - british hop varieties, very rustic. Holy shit this is delicious. A ton of hops without being overly bitter, unlike anything from the US. Very herbaceous, earthy, seedy - anise? coriander? Bready biscuity pale malt base, very deft body for an IPA. Dusty floury saison-like palate, tangerine zest. An exotic fruity sweetness in the flavor. One of the coolest and most unique IPAs I’ve ever tried. A little expensive but worth it. azlondon (662), Fribourg, Switzerland
