| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 20, 2008 Poured amber with a thin dissapearing head. Strong fruity nose. Flavour starts out with fruity sweetness which is quickly contrasted with bitter yeastyness. Bitter doesn’t take over though and the sweetness lingers in the background, quite remarkable. Bitter flavour lingers in the mouth for a while too. tlind2 (560), Helsinki, Finland
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 19, 2008 750 ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, coppery color, big head. Aroma of sweet malts and dark wood. The taste is pretty sweet, but finishes up with lingering bitterness. Pleasantly different from it’s aggressively hopped American counterparts. This was probably the first english IPA that I’ve really enjoyed. dkoonce (884), People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 18, 2008 Cloudy gold, with an extremely thick white head. Very sweet and heavy, with much less bitter hops than expected. Although this seems not to be true to the style, it was quite enjoyable. OStreetBrewery (100), Wellington, New Zealand
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 10, 2008 Pours a light gold with a thick white head. Aroma features zesty hops, melons, and lime contributing to a tropical character. Also a rather off putting saccharine sugary note with touches of caramel. On the palate Melons and lime make a quick appearance before succumbing to a sickly barley sugar character, stewed malt, sugary unfermented malt, ending in a long bitter finish. Could be a fantastic beer if it was attenuated properly. nearbeer (1834), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 10, 2008 750 ml. Cloudy orange-copper with a large head that settles into a lasting, sugary ring. Aroma is earthy honeycomb, tea leaf, and slight orange. Flavor is orange-tea, sweetened with honey and bittered with resiny pine sap. Some slight cocoa and bitterish roasted nut in the aftertaste. Near-medium body is almost smooth, and dry. blackmurder (164), sadf, Hawaii, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 10, 2008 Price to value kind of sucked but it is still good beer. I’d give it an 85-86. Poured golden hazy star dust and had a whirlpool head with a dimple at the top. Tastes like grapefruits and lemons and stuff.
