Sampled from a 750ml bottle. Filtered and golden hued. Soapy white head. Pine and floral hops in the nose. Medium bodied with good bitterness. Acidic and dry. Solid malt backbone. Citrus and piney hops. Big bitterness. Well done.

Pours a hazy light orange color with a white head. Aroma is malty, hint of fruit, and grassy bitter hops. Flavor is malty, slightly fruity, and a bitter finish.

750ML bottle. Amber burnt colour when poured with a fluffy white head. First striking aroma is of green apples, very grassy with hints of spicy hops and barley grain. Tatse: this beer give s a mouth explosion of cirtus hops, grassy earthyness and enough malt to give a lingering sweetness. Good carbonation with a dry bitter finish. Great ipa.

But friends, this beer changed my life. Appearance: Pours out a blurred coppery orange with a very fluffy, very inviting white head. Smell: Exhilarating aroma of fresh bread, butter, and toffee tied to the spicy, herbal scent of English hops. Taste: Yum! This brew was a perfect blend of caramel sweetness, rich grains, and a citrus hop flavor reminiscent of orange marmalade. Nice spicy finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Carbonation is soft and fine. Drinkability: Very much so. I can’t help but lavish this beer with uplifting compliments, positive energy, good-cheer thoughts and sugarplums.

Now, THIS is an IPA. (Greene King take note). Glugs satisfyingly from the bottle a full-bodied orange-amber, nose bursting with resinous lemon rind hop juiciness. The mouth is full and velvety, an initially alpine head subsiding into a fine white collar of foam -essential to prevent all those precious, aromatically citrussy, pineapple-tinged (YES) hop flavours from wafting out of the tulip. Nibbles of honey-dipped, vanilla-dusted barrelwood emerging as it warms. Plenty of chewy malt sweetness lurking in the background. Ready to bite you. One of those rare beers that lives up to its own hype. Zestily fruity, tangily bittersweet and more than worthy of the Duvel tulip. What a superbly dangerous bottle of hops.

Never have seen this brewing co ever so i was excited to test them out. The ipa pours as a thick and gloomy bright orange with tons of sediment floating. Is this a non filtered beer. The aroma is a pleasant smell of hops and spice that im not used to finding in ipa’s. The drink is mild with a strong sweetness of honey and also packs a punch of bitterness from the hop. Very nice edition of an ipa, im not used to them like this.

Orange-amber in colour, very long lasting large off-white coloured head, some floating sediment, great lacing. The aroma is lightly sweet, some caramel malt, oranges, piney hops, some earth. The flavour is of caramel malts, lightly sweet, some toffee, oranges and lemons, earthy, some pine and light grapefruit. Mildly bitter mouthfeel, medium body, high carbonation. Finishes very long with a moderate bitterness. A very assertive English IPA.

Bottle sampled on 3/22/07: Pours a hazy copper orange with a wispy-lacing thin white head. Aroma of lightly earthy grapefruity English hops and a touch of aged caramel malt. Body starts with some rich, earthy caramel malt and some mildly bitter hops toward a touch of butterscotch before a slightly toasty bittersweet finish.
