| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 30, 2009 hazy orange, respectable off-white head, no lace. nose of caramel with floral notes and the slightest hint of hops. flavor is sweet malt, creamy caramel, tart citric notes, trace of well-hidden alcohol. medium bodied, lingering bitter finish. although it’s got a nice bitter finish, the sweet and caramel were at bit too strong for me. not a terrible beer, just not a favorite. single bottle from binny’s o.p. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 27, 2009 Pours a golden copper color with decent head. The aroma is slightly grassy & in a weird way you can feel the carbonation with your nose. The taste is slightly grassy & slight citrus. The mouthfeel is very spritzy & feels like Alka Seltzer on your tongue- I guess this is do to the bottle conditioning. Overall a smooth beer that seems like it needs to be aged to be something better. curly (575), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 25, 2009 Slightly hazy orange and a thin white head on the pour. Faint citrus aroma. Sure this is authentic maybe, but damn these hops are weak. I guess I am just used to the more heavily hopped American IPA’s, not to say that anything is greatly flawed with the beer, it just lacks punch. Very good balance between the hops and caramel malt. Finishes with some roast. SaintMatty (1213), Tallinn, Estonia
