Meantime are Britain’s only brewers of authentic India Pale Ale. Small batch production allows us to apply the attention to detail and care we require to produce an authentic IPA especially for you. Pound upon pound of Fuggles & Goldings hops are needed to enable us to achieve the dry hopping rates necessary to recreate this great beer style. Enjoy with hot foods and spicy friends, or vice versa.

Bottle. Fruity hops aroma, berries, spruce, generous amount of candyish caramel. Almost clear orange colour. Stable head. Taste is at last revealing the unmistakable English hop profile, grassy, earthy, but also the pleasant fruity quality, which may just be caramel in disguise. Very good, easily drinkable. Above average carbonation. Long dry hoppy finish.

750ml bottle from Waitrose. Clean fresh aroma. V refreshing for strength. Good depth of flavour. Long-lasting fruit sweetness then bitterness after a while. Only the second beer from Meantime I've enjoyed... Good beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml bottle Appearance: Cloudy dark amber, off-white 2 fingers sized head. Aroma: malty, molasses, caramel, citrus, Taste: Moderate sweet with a moderate to medium biter finish. Quite biscuity, sweet malts, with some hop bitterness(grass, floral) in the finish medium body, creamy texture for an IPA, soft carbonation, A good but quite malty Englisch IPA.

bottle @v Party Town / Florence KY --- Cloudy dark amber, off-white light head cover, curtain of lace. Really good appealing floral hop and malt aroma. Taste is caramel malt that is joined by solid floral hops in the palate. On the swallow, malt once again is dominant in a lingering finish. A solid IPA. Highly recommended.

Aroma of malt, caramel, bread, citrus, rich dried fruits, some hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a moderate to medium biter finish. Nice full body. Not a refreshing hopbomb, this is definitely a malty English IPA.
