Meantime are Britain’s only brewers of authentic India Pale Ale. Small batch production allows us to apply the attention to detail and care we require to produce an authentic IPA especially for you. Pound upon pound of Fuggles & Goldings hops are needed to enable us to achieve the dry hopping rates necessary to recreate this great beer style. Enjoy with hot foods and spicy friends, or vice versa.

Draft. Copper color with an off white head. Aromas of sweet malt and light citrus hops. Mild bitterness that blends with a weird hopy malt flavor. No idea what it is, but I like it.

Amber colour, clear with small white cap. Mild aroma, refreshing bitterness over second part of tongue, some sweetness on the first half. Bitter aftertaste on the root.

W aromacie jest dość słodowo, wyraźne nuty ciasteczkowe, aromat chmielowy idący w stronę przypraw i ziół. W smaku nieco bardziej słodko niż w klasycznych angielskich IPA, Dominuje słodowość, ciastka z nutą białych owoców, lekko winne, goryczka ziołowa, zdecydowanie za niska. Dobra pijalność, całość rozczarowująca.

Aroma: light caramel malts, fruity and floral hops. Appearance: hazy dark amber, small white head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: sweet malty, bitterness appearing, medium carbonation. Overall: OK IPA, nothing too remarkable. Bottle at Meantime Brewery, London.

Hazy orange. Aroma is orange funk and feet, but in a good way. Taste is a little funk, sour and a bit of orange peal. Nice.

> A shockingly not fresh English IPA that has actually held up quite well

[ Bottle ][ DedicatedToFun ][ 750mL ][ Reidel Stemless ][ Free ][ 1/24/14 ]
>> Pours a full haze orange with excellent head formation and retention. Nose is squashy English style hops, sugar cube. Taste is sticky but not too sweet with tea, squash, toffee. Not brash, papery, or dry. Easy to drink, not bad at all.

Pretty good IPA, 750ML from Andrew Cheese Shop in Santa Monica, hoppy and bitter

Pours a cloudy orange with minimal light white head. Aroma of syrup sweet with a touch of earthiness. Taste is robust English malt bready and biscuit blended well with bitterness throughout. Not a ton of hop aroma but it comes through on the taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle (750ml): Cloudy, copper to brown with little head. Lifted caramel, cocoa, roasted nuts, creamy. Certainly a heavier profile. Dry, not sour and only moderately bitter. Dense and long. Very rich mid palate. Loads of sweet fruit. Tropical, cocoa, cooked banana. Completely different to American IPA. It’s malty and roasted. lots of flavor. Very rich. Love the difference in style.

Orange body with foamy white lasting head, nice lacing. Pretty much perfect appearance-wise. Floral and sweet citrus aroma. Taste is initially quite malty and sweet with a nice touch of bitterness in the end. Quite unique for an IPA. Interesting and enjoyable.
