Bottle conditioned. Alsos available on keg.
Meantime are Britain's only brewers of authentic India Pale Ale. Small batch production allows us to apply the attention to detail and care we require to produce an authentic IPA especially for you. Pound upon pound of Fuggles & Goldings hops are needed to enable us to achieve the dry hopping rates necessary to recreate this great beer style. Enjoy with hot foods and spicy friends, or vice versa.

biscuity, shortbread malt aroma. hazy bright orange with a dome shaped, long lasting, creamy white head. dominantly malty(shortbread) flavor with a bitter and moderately lemony hop finish. enjoyable, i just didn’t care for the aroma.

Pours a hazy blonde with a huge head and tons of fizz. I am even impressed with the large about of lacing. It has a strong aroma of lemon, grass, and yes, bananna. The taste is somewhat grassy and dry, but it has a nice bitter aftertaste. Being from the Pacific Norwest, I have Cascade hops running through my veins, so the abundance of fuggles and goldings is hard for me to swallow in an IPA. Not a very complex beer, even has a light mouthfeel, but I do like this beer. Good job Meantime.

750 ML bottle: Very light amber w/ a short lived light off white head. Grassy and diacetyl @ first, then floral and lemony citrus notes. Very light toasty malt and caramel and few wafts of ester fruitiness. Well balanced w/ a moderate diacetyl at first in the flavor. Spicy hop comes in second. Semi sweet finish and a lemony citrus aftertaste. A little bit of toasty malt after it warms, but the caramel seems very light to almost non existant. Lighter medium body, low carbonation, smooth, w/ well hidden alcohol. Not nearly as aggressively hopped as an American IPA, I rather enjoy this style slightly more overall.

Bottle. Pours clear orange with a thich off-white head. Hoppy apple aroma. Flavour is sweetish and bitter hoppy. Not very complex, but a decent beer. 11-07-06.

Hazy orange color with a medium frothy head. Sweet citrus and floral hops with some caramel. Lots of citrus and caramel in the flavor.

Beautiful cloudy-golden body with a light frothy head. Aroma is quite nice, delicate with hints of pine and apple. Taste is not as hoppy as American IPAs, there is a bit more malt present. However, the main taste is citrus following the pine. Nice lightly bitter ending, cool as well.

(Bottle at Plain Kitchen, Göteborg) Pours light, hazy orange/amber with white head. Dry, earthy, peppery hoppy smell with some malt. The taste is dry and hoppy (Fuggles), from grass to grapefruit. Dry bitter finish. Malty notes and a touch of alcohol. Not complex but a really good beer. The best i´ve tried from Meantime.

Bottled. An orange coloured beer with a thin white head. The aroma is resiny hops with a little wood and a little soapiness. The taste is very good bittering hops. Tasty and a very long finish. Not really the best types of hop for this type of beer but a really good beeer and it’s an English brewer!!
