COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle conditioned. Also available on keg (filtered but not pasteurised).
Meantime are Britain’s only brewers of authentic India Pale Ale. Small batch production allows us to apply the attention to detail and care we require to produce an authentic IPA especially for you. Pound upon pound of Fuggles & Goldings hops are needed to enable us to achieve the dry hopping rates necessary to recreate this great beer style. Enjoy with hot foods and spicy friends, or vice versa.

750ml bottle. Hazy light orange gold with a creamy head. Soft English hops on the nose, orange peel, citrus, sweet floral. Taste is sweet, a nice mild bitterness with a long caramel finish. Mouthfeel is smooth and oily. A nice change of pace from the big American IPAs.

Bottle. Dark amber with big off white head. Spicy peppery and earthy aroma. Taste of caramel and toffee, slightly resinous, touch of green apple. Slightly tangy and quite bitter.

Bottle shared at barbecue, would have been nicer if it was sunny! 9th June 2013, this is an English style IPA, the hops are more subdued, not aromatic, drinkable and fairly enjoyable, a little harsh in places, the alcohol comes through

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

11.2oz bottle. Pours a hazy copper color with a thick creamy off white head. Aroma is malty, with a hint of spice, and some earthy hop presence. Taste is caramel malt, citrus fruits, and a spicy/earthy hop bitterness.

Head: off-white, medium, frothy, good retention. Colour: rich amber, hazy. Aroma: strong hoppy, tropical fruit, dried fig. Taste: strong and juicy fruit sweetness, balanced my moderate hop bitterness. Medium body. A rich, juicy and satisfying ale. Very good!

Cold 75cl bottle. Clear light orange with decent white head. Bit of caramel in the smell. Taste has quite a lot of caramel, some background floral flavours. Enduring aftertaste. Somewhere in between an IPA and an DIPA in terms of flavour. Nice, easy drinking. Good stuff.

Cutesy mini magnum bottle. Again, consumed under duress due to the Sloth Paradox. Damn you Bert! Pours a photon eating amber. Thin ring of head cling s for dear life to the sides of the glass. Hops are muted in the nose dute to the huge sweet malt onslaught. The film of head diminishes quickly from total coverage to a shape similar to the outline of Tasmania complete with Sarah Island, and then after a few quaffs it looks like Iceland. Club me like a baby seal this beer is tasty! Body is short lived but shaped like a Brontosaurus. (It’s my theory!) Starts off slow gets real big and then ends small and is drawn out but still dangerous for a plant eater. I may not emerge from the basement this afternoon. Should have bought two of these....Damn Slothian paradox.
