Meantime are Britain’s only brewers of authentic India Pale Ale. Small batch production allows us to apply the attention to detail and care we require to produce an authentic IPA especially for you. Pound upon pound of Fuggles & Goldings hops are needed to enable us to achieve the dry hopping rates necessary to recreate this great beer style. Enjoy with hot foods and spicy friends, or vice versa.

Tasted on 3/31/14 from a capped 375mL bottle purchased at (had this one several times, but this one was purchased at) Frugal MacDoogal. Pours hazy bright orange with a thick white head that slowly settles into thick lace, leaving residue along the inside of the glass. The nose is earthy and spicy hops with just enough dark bread malt to provide backbone. The flavor is the same, really focused on the earthy and spicy hops with the addition of some orange peel, and the malt showing a bit more caramel. The body is medium with average carbonation and a long nicely bitter earthy, spicy, and orange peel hops.

Typical English IPA, Goldings are quite present. Fatty, not too bitter. Quite heavy on the alcohol. from a supermarket.

(Meantime India Pale Ale) Bottle 330 ml at home, served into a tulup, ABV 7.4% Deep copper orange colour on the body, crystal clear, with a tall and thick off-white head. Very good retention, medium lacing on the glass. Malty aroma , fuggles hops, sugar, floral notes. Taste of grass, flowers, fruity cake, biscuit. Light bitterness. Medium thin body, soft carbonation. Nice beer, interesting for sure, not what I expected.

Color ámbar turbio con espuma consistente. Aroma maltoso y caramelo.

On tap at "na 7. schode", Zilina. Light amber with medium white head, fair lacing. Aroma of malts, resin, caramel, spruce, buttery and bread. Taste is moderate bitter, sweet, some buttery and spruce on tongue. Medium bitter finish. I wouldn’t say it’s 7.4% alcohol, very drinkable.

330ml bottle from ales by mail. Appearance is a golden amber colour, pouring clear with a creamy off white head. Malty sweet aroma. Grassy sweet taste with hints of caramel. Nice hoppy bitterness. Very nice.
